Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
I fall asleep everynight listening the cd with headphones... lots of times I wake up in the night and hit the button again... so most nights I am listening to it twice....I feel great when I wake up in the morning.

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
I can't believe how well I sleep since I have started listening to the nighttime cd. I sometimes wake up before the alarm clock rings. I'm top shape to go to the gym, which usually I couldn't do, although the gym is across the street.

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
I'm excited that since listening to the CD for the last 5 nights (my first 5 times), the last two nights I've fallen asleep during the CD. I did feel like I was groggy this morning but have found myself sitting at my desk today and strangely, have no anxiety at all. I would have the odd anxious thought but now, it's like nothing really registers and it's as if I have this forcefield around me.
Last night, I read a bit more of the book and I got to the part about bathing your heart in that sunny glow. Well, I could really feel it!! Then you had to visualise it radiating from you, well, I could feel THAT!!! It was wild, kind of like a tingly feeling. I think this is really going to work for me.
Once I've finished the book, I will give it to my husband to read. He suffers greatly from depression, anxiety and has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He's heavily medicated and has experienced a great deal of anxiety recently so I think this would help him as well as having the medication.
PS...I AM SAFE!!! =D

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
I had a hard time falling asleep with the cd since Sunday night. I sometimes have to listen to it 2 or 3 times. Weird. Last night though, I tried to pre-relax before pressing the play button. It worked better. I'm having a hard time to let go. The first week I used it, it worked wonders.

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
I fall asleep happily,at last. I havent slept well for at least 5 years, due to menapause symptons stress, etc. I would easily wake at least 6 -10 times a night. Now i fall asleep easily and may only wake once or twice. I also listen to the CD whilst i'm on the forum site and reading the info. I think its good for me at anytime, and each time i listen i hear something else that didnt sink in before. But going to sleep is the best thing, and lets face it a good sleep is beneficial to our over all health and long term weight loss. Sleep and enjoy!

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
Some random tips for people I have found useful.
1. If you are waking up at the end of the cd put some kind of white noise track on. I have the cd on my mp3 player, and I follow it with a thunderstorm mp3.
2. if you have a physically scratched cd you can use toothpaste with your finger to remove/buff out big scratches and then a pencil eraser to buff the smaller ones. It looks bad, but the laser can read though the small scratches. Google it if you want more directions
3. I found ear buds better than full size headphones if you sleep on your side.

Re: I fall asleep during the CD, will I still be getting the benefits?
It's funny, I don't think I've ever heard more than the first 5 minutes of it because I am usually asleep so fast. I do wake up feeling VERY refreshed though, when I've fallen aslep to it.

I'm like you, sometimes I'm working so hard to listen to more that I am not relaxed, so I give in, let go and fall asleep.

visualisation at night
Hi there I have been listening to the audio in bed for the last 5 nights and the last two I have found that I get relaxed so quickly (like within 2 minutes) and then before I know I'm asleep and wake up tangled in my mp3 player. Is this ok or should I put it on earlier to stay awake to listen to the whole track?
Thanks
Alicia.
