I totaly agree. It sounds like there is a reason these feelings are comming up! Take some time, keep listening to the cd at night, and soon enough you will have your ah moment, or more of them, and things will really take off!
Best wishes for you all!

Re: 100 lbs. / 45 kgs or more to lose?
Hi all!
Sorry I've been absent for so long. I've been feeling discouraged, scared, and stuck. I know what to do and have all the necessary tools yet I have not managed to move forward in the way that is necessary to get my body on board with weightloss.
I've been taking all of the supplements and listening to the cd, and awhile back thought I was beginning to make some real progress turning the fat programs down. But shortly thereafter things just locked up again and so far I haven't been able to make any progress with weight loss. In fact, I've done nothing but gain weight which has sent me into a tailspin of fear and self-doubt.
I was fortunate to be able to speak with Jon last night on the radio show and right off the bat he picked up on the fact that I have not been following my heart in terms of career. He told me that until I address this issue my body is not going to let go of the weight. I know he is right.
My body is wiser than I've given it credit for. It will no longer be forced to jump through hoops that are taking me in a direction that is killing my spirit. I can no longer put off addressing this very important issue. It is scary for sure, especially with the current economical climate, but I need to face that there is never going to be a convenient time to change course.
I can see a lot of humor when I really look at myself sometimes. I will practically knock myself out with effort doing everything EXCEPT addressing the real issues right in front of me. It's like, Oh THAT! ANYTHING but THAT!!!!! Isn't there ANYTHING else I can do besides facing my fears??!! Isn't there just another supplement I can take, or a food plan strategy, or possibly even a surgery I can have that will fix everything for me?!
How is everyone else doing?
Sunshine

Re: 100 lbs. / 45 kgs or more to lose?
Hi all,
I would love to join this group please, since I would like to lose 150 lbs. It is so encouraging to read all of your entries, and now I'm totally psyched! I myself, find the best way for me to lose weight is by food combining and keeping carbs and meats separate, so I'll be trying that along with the holistic practices.
It's gotten to a point now, that it's not so much what I look like that I'm worried about, I just want to be able to do things I used to do when I was younger, like go on rides at the fair, go downhill skiing, horseback riding (LOL - I'm afraid I'll crush the horse!), and fly in coach without having to suck my gut in all the way in order to do up the seatbelt.
Ah - and I'd love to go on the waterslides! Some day. These are my goals :-)
I'm 38, and I believe you're never too old to have fun!

Hi Sunshine,
Seems a lot of us are experiencing similar situations as you relate. It seems to always boil down to some issues we've not addressed, likely not been aware of.
I too am in a stagnant state after having regained the 4-5 pounds I lost initially. I have done a bit more inner searching and initial dealing with things that come up, most of them emotional so far. I guess at my age I've shoved down a lot of things. For all of us we get so used to the way things are we aren't aware of problem spots that would turn on the FAT programs.
I wonder if there is anyone in the US yet who has been or is being successful on the program. Most of the forum posts are of folks 'down under', which makes sense since that is where Jon started out with the GM after he maintained his goal weight.
To sum all this up -- it's great to read all the positive posts and encouragements; but it is also good to know we aren't the only ones having problems at any given time. It can be hard staying motivated at such times. So thanks for sharing the 'downs' as well as the 'ups' with us. (Have you used EFT for the GM?)
With holidays coming up, I suspect lots of us will be scarce on the forums.
Happy Thanksgiving. Hugs, Pat
