Savory Parmesan Crisp Bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups almond meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
- 1 tsp xylitol
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp savoury yeast flakes
- 3 tbsp flaxseeds
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 4 tbsp filtered water
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 200oC
- Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well
- Form dough, add some extra water if you need to
- Line a baking tray with baking paper
- Wet your hands and press the dough onto the tray
- Try to flatten so that it is even and fairly thin
- Bake for 20 minutes until golden and set
- Take out the oven and cool on a wire rack
- Cut while cooling
- Leave in the tray until completely cooled, as they break easily when warm
Serve with avocado dip, sliced tomatoes and cheese
If you have some left over store in an air-tight container
