Ingredients

  • 2 cups freshly ground flaxseed meal
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp xylitol
  • 5 organic eggs
  • Half cup filteredwater
  • One third cup cold-pressed olive oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC
  2. Mix the dry ingredients with a whisk
  3. Then mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients
  4. Let the mixture stand for 5-10 minutes
  5. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  6. Pour the batter onto the tray
  7. Make sure the batter is not thicker in the middle, if it is spread out slightly
  8. Bake for 20 minutes
  9. Test with a skewer - the bread is done when the skewer comes out clean
  10. Cool on a wire rack and cut
